Drew Alumni Game Sat Sept 29th 2007

Message from Chris Walsh: The Drew University Alumni Rugby match will be played this weekend on the Drew Campus (in Madison) at 1:30 or thereabouts. This is the first time it will be played in Sept. A long way back, before the Drew Alumni game was played on the same day as the Jersey Cup, a handful, or more, of Morris players would come over and fill out the sides. Morris players are, of course, welcome to attend again. This is a very low-key game. In recent years the average age has probably been about 40-42. We generally play 20 minute halves – we used to play 3 halves but recently it’s been 2 because we haven’t had the numbers to play a 3rd. Forecast is, “sunny and pleasant” and temp should be mid-70s.
